Why Donate?

Your Gift

why-donateBecause your gift will have a direct impact on a child’s life, because there is a significant life-long return on your investment, and because we need your support in order to provide our students with a high-quality preschool experience.

Consider these facts:

  • It costs $9,000 a year to educate a child at the AJL Preschool
  • All of our current families receive financial aid
  • Every family contributes the portion of the tuition that they can afford
  • 100% of your donation goes directly to each child’s educational experience
You can make a gift in one of three ways:

GENERAL DONATIONS

Tax-deductible contributions to support The Adam J. Lewis Preschool Scholarship Fund can be made in any amount by making a check payable to the Adam J. Lewis Preschool or on our make a gift page. Donations help us cover tuition, operating expenses, curriculum development and faculty enrichment, teacher salaries and building maintenance. Every dollar helps support the cost to educate our students.

NAMED SCHOLARSHIPS

Make an investment in a child’s future by creating a Named Scholarship at the AJL Preschool in honor, name or memory of an individual, family, group, organization or business. Gifts to support a scholarship are an incredibly powerful way to help a student with demonstrated financial need reach his or her potential. When you create a Named Scholarship, you will receive frequent updates with the child’s progress and insight into how your contribution is making a difference. These Scholarships are also listed on our website and in all publications and annual events. We welcome Named Scholarships established in the amount of $10,000.

MULTI-YEAR PLEDGES OR GIFTS-IN-KIND

Multi-year pledges to the Scholarship Fund are an excellent way to help ensure the long-term viability of the preschool. Reminders will be sent on a yearly basis. In-kind gifts of computers, equipment or materials are always welcome. Make your gift today!!
