Lunch
Lunch is a time for socialization, healthy eating habits and self-help skills. Each child should bring their lunch to school in a lunch box or bag labeled with their name. We ask that you send self-serving lunches, as your child will be getting his/her own lunches and unpacking them at the table. State licensing requires that teachers monitor children’s lunches to be sure they are being provided nutritious meals.

Backpacks
Each child should bring a backpack to school every day. The backpack can be used to carry their lunchbox and hats and mittens, if necessary. Newsletters, teacher correspondence and work that the children have done at school will also go home in backpacks. Parents should check their child’s backpack everyday.

Children should not bring personal property, such as toys, to school.
